Musculoskeletal ultrasound in consultation

Musculoskeletal ultrasound

Real-time assessment and guidance for techniques such as EPTE, dry needling or neuromodulation.

Ultrasound assessment. It allows us to examine muscles, tendons, ligaments, bursae, cartilage and bone surfaces. It helps us locate the injury, choose the best therapeutic strategy and monitor progress.
Ultrasound-guided percutaneous electrolysis EPTE

Ultrasound-guided percutaneous electrolysis (EPTE®)

Needle-guided microcurrents for tendinopathies: stimulates tissue repair.

EPTE® is a technique for tendinopathies that uses microcurrents, making the application practically painless. It may help tendon recovery when indicated. Our equipment has a medical CE certificate.

It consists of applying microcurrents through an acupuncture needle to access damaged soft tissue and stimulate self-recovery. It produces a controlled inflammatory response needed for tendon repair. Improved mobility and pain are often noticed in ~48 h. Suitable for athletes and the general population.
Dry needling for trigger points

Dry needling

Solid needle technique to deactivate trigger points and normalise muscle function.

A semi-invasive technique using acupuncture needles for myofascial pain syndrome (trigger points). The needle penetrates the skin and stimulates the point to deactivate it and reduce pain.
Percutaneous neuromodulation

Ultrasound-guided percutaneous neuromodulation

Peripheral nerve stimulation to modulate pain and improve motor control.

Application of electrical stimuli with needles at specific points targeting peripheral nerves and muscles. Indicated for:
  • Chronic pain: lower back pain, neck pain, migraines…
  • Sports injuries: muscle, tendon and joint injuries.
  • Myofascial pain syndrome: trigger point deactivation.
  • Neuropathies: pain relief and functional improvement.
  • Post-surgical recovery: less pain and faster functional recovery.
Tecar therapy or diathermy

Winback tecar therapy

Diathermy that improves vascularisation and accelerates tissue recovery.

Used in rehabilitation, injury recovery and degenerative processes with pain, inflammation and/or reduced joint mobility. It may help reduce pain and improve mobility when indicated.
Shockwave therapy

Shockwave therapy

Treatment used for calcifications, plantar fasciitis and some persistent tendinopathies.

Radial shockwaves for muscle pain, contractures and ligament-related problems, supporting tissue regeneration and reducing the risk of recurrence. Common cases include epicondylitis, calcifications, plantar fasciitis, heel spur, tendinitis…
Pressotherapy for leg recovery

Pressotherapy

Pneumatic compression for venous return, drainage and leg recovery.

Applies localised pressure to speed up recovery, improve venous circulation, support lymphatic drainage and remove metabolites after intense training; it helps prepare tissues for new loads.
Magnetotherapy

Magnetotherapy

Support for bone healing and pain; home rental option available.

Supports recovery from fractures and bone oedema. It addresses pain and stimulates cellular and metabolic processes for the regeneration of muscle, bone, ligaments and tendons.
Strength and jump measurement with Chronojump at RECFISPORT

Chronojump

Objective tests for prevention, rehabilitation and return to play.

We use Chronojump to assess isometric strength, jump performance, asymmetries and athlete progress. It helps us make more objective decisions in injury prevention, sports rehabilitation and Return to Play testing.
